Awards and Patches
The following are the journey's, badges and patches the troop has worked on or is working on for the 2011/2012 year.
Daisy Petals
Scouts will complete requirements for the Blue Center, Light Blue, Yellow, Spring Green, Red and Orange Petals.
Junior Legacy Badges
The Legacy badges are based on activities that Girl Scouts have been doing since 1912. There are seven groups of Legacy badges: Artist, Athlete, Citizen, Cook, First Aid, Girl Scout Way, and Naturalist. While earning 6 of these patches scouts will see how relevant these topics still are for girls today!
Financial Literacy Badge
This badge help scouts learn about money-how to make it, how to spend it, how to save it, and how to share it with others.
Cookie Business Badge
The skills learned while earning the Financial Literacy badge will be used during cookie sale to earn the Cookie Business badge.
Journey's
Journey Summit Award
When a girl completes all three journeys at her level, she earns the Journey Summit Pin. Earning this award demonstrates that a girl knows “to her core” what it means to be a leader.

Girl Scout Brownies are invited on a search. The three keys they will uncover along their journey are the keys of the Girl Scout leadership philosophy.

Zoo Animal Safari
This program provides an opportunity for elementary school age girls to think individually and as a group about how and when animal behavior can apply in their lives especially in conflict situations.
